Who are we?
Hi, I'm Jack,
I started The Canopy Company in 2023 after my brother and sister in law's search for a wedding marquee led them to a dead end. They wanted something special. Something unique. Something warm and inviting that reflected the kinds of people they are. So as all kids do when uncertainty rears its ugly head- we went and asked mum...
Now, we're a close-knit family. But being honest the whole thing is held together by our wonderful Mum- Kate Barton. An avid creative, ferocious cook and general joy to be around. She's been in the rag trade since long before I was born so, naturally, she was a trustworthy person to go to.

(With mums advice)
We designed our own marquee. One that did the soon-to-be newlyweds justice and showed them off in the best possible light. One that held their guests in a cocoon for the whole day (and night..). And one that they could use again and again. year after year (and for less than the price of renting one, mind you!)

One year, 4 flights back and forth to visit the lovely folk at our block printing factory in Jaipur and COUNTLESS swatches later: The Canopy Company was born. We now provide cosy canopies to people all over the UK- whatever size they need.
